who we are

Those who know us know that we are always up for a chat. We do excel at what we do. We provide a lifetime of experience of design, artwork and print production.

Rob Duffy started Cooranbong Printing in 1972. He had worked in the trade for many years. He started in a shed behind the family home in Avondale Road where he provided both letterpress and offset printing for the local district. While he is now retired, his legacy continues.

Cath is a Kiwi who came to Australia at the age of four. Her Dad dabbled in printing. She has alway had creative flair. She graduated with a high distinction in graphic design from the prestigious Billy Blue School of Design. After the fast pace of designing for high profile clients in Sydney, she followed cupid to marry a printer.

John is Rob’s son, a second generation printer. Skilled at what he does. He is a bit of a quiet perfectionist. He considers he struck it lucky when he met Cath. He’s still catching up with the fact that he snagged and married her – even though it’s been 33 years now.

We have a lot of fun along the way. Not content with the serious world of print clients, a paper craft business was started on the side (yes, literally on the side of the print business). For a while there it got bigger than Ben Hur. There’s nothing like a string of happy craft folk to liven up your day. Paper & Stuff has now been trading alongside Cooranbong Printing for more than three decades.

While we both aspire to grow old disgracefully – for the time being we are content with creating havoc behind our counter in the Cooranbong Business Park. Call in for a chat, laugh, or a cry… or even some advice on your printing needs.
